I can provide some assistance.  I would need to know what the collection involves? (Is it just photos or are there negatives?  What is the volume of the collection? 2 cubic feet, or 1000 cubic feet?  Where will it be stored?  A warehouse or an office environment?

There are companies that deal in used fireproof safes but the freight to Alaska is an issue.  I don't know of a safe dealer with used safes in Alaska.  There are some in Seattle and they ship it via ocean vessel.

A collection like you describe may be able to apply for a Grant to pay for the safe.

As you provide information I will see what I can do.
