Good Day Everyone,
Can anyone share how they manage SAP records with a retention schedule?
My company has a retention schedule defining how long we keep financial
records in SAP and I’ve just been told by my Technology department that we
can archive records in SAP but never delete them. Our retention schedule
says that we will destroy the records. If this is true that SAP data cannot be
deleted then I need to amend the schedule.
I’m sure this is probably really basic stuff to many out there in the records
mgmt community but I’m new to records management. Thanks for any
feedback you can provide!
Also, unrelated to my SAP question above, does anyone have any links to best
practices on establishing an aduit/compliance program for a new records mgmt
program?
Have a great week! And thank you again for taking the time to consider my
questions!
