Angie, there are better ways to store logs.  Have you considered
entering this data into an Excel spreadsheet?  That way, you can perform
searches on the file and find what you are looking for.  

or

Storing the info into some electronic database and OCR.  

Storing in paper and trying to find that information is painful...as SW
would say.
