Could you create a spreadsheet where you could enter the minimum information you need to keep? You could have someone do this at the time destruction is requested to save handling the box slips too much.

(Heavy sigh...) As usualy, John, you are right. At the very least, destruction dates and a destruction log must be retained. I am back to the Destruction Log Folder dilemma. It is a lot of boxes to run through when I researching destructions dates for small clutch. Perhaps an OCR scan would help speed things up.
