I agree with John's list - I got all these books to study with - probably spent about $500 on books from the bibliography list on the ICRM website.  

I took all five multiple choice at the same time (over three days during snow storms) - living in a hotel because I did not have a testing location nearby.  I missed Part 5 by 1 or 2 points - and had to take that over.  Just did Part 6 (first time) in December - and here I am CRM.

The best prep I did was go to some of the prep workshops - either at the conference or from one of the ARMA Chapters.  IN fact ICRM now has a package that any ARMA Chapter or other group can purchase to put on their own prep workshop.  Some of the workshops did cost $$, but you get some great feedback and can create a support group from the workshop with others who attended.  These workshop were invaluable for the Part 6 preparation!
