When we bid and negotiated our contract with our local off-site storage provider, we included wording that gave us 4 hour delivery at the regular cost,  i.e. we call by 11 in the morning and it will be delivered by 3 that afternoon,  we call by 3 in the afternoon, it is delivered by 11 the next morning.  Anything needed sooner than this arrangement is considered extra cost.

Would anyone be willing to discuss what they are paying for off-site storage.  I work for an electric utility in Louisiana and we have an in-town vendor which we have used for many years.  They are the only local company and we are very pleased with their services.  We typically call requested items in for the next business day, unless there is an emergency.  We pay extra from same day service.  I would like to see if what we are paying for their services is in line with what other companies pay for off-site storage.  Again, we are very pleased with services, just doing a due diligence to ensure we are in line.
