 Role
 Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to use your information management leadership skills in championing and implementing enterprise content management (ECM) tools and practices across Alberta Health? Put your strong project management and technical skills to work in this challenging Director, Enterprise Content Management position within the Health Information Technology and Systems Division.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Information Management Branch, the incumbent is responsible for directing the development and implementation of a framework and program for the management of information including governance, policy, standards and practices and for leading a complex ECM initiative over a 4 to 5 year period to enhance and transform business and information management practices. You will also oversee corporate records management services and web channel services associated with internet, extranet, intranet and collaboration for the department and will provide leadership and support to Government of Alberta cross-ministry information management initiatives. You will bring excellent oral/presentation and written communication skills, as well as change management skills, to the position as you will work collaboratively with executives, managers and staff from all divisions in providing advice and supporting the transformation of business and information management practices. Your strong strategic thinking skills will enable you to innovate, and your management and organizational skills will allow you to successfully lead a staff of 7 as well as a team of contracted resources and to balance various competing interests and priorities.

As the successful candidate, you should have an awareness of new and emerging information management and ECM issues and trends and their implications.


 Qualifications
 A university degree preferably at a Masters level in Information Management, Information Technology or Business/Public Administration, plus a minimum of 6 years related experience in information management including management experience. Proven knowledge and experience with managing an information management program and deploying ECM (preferably SharePoint and OpenText Content Server) are required. Knowledge of IT as well as information and privacy legislation such as the Health Information Act and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy are considered an asset. CRM certification through the ICRM and/or certification through AIIM are desirable.


 Salary
 $3,214.68 to $4,386.18 bi-weekly ($83,903 to $114,479 annually)
