Subject: Building the Grateful Dead Archive Online and such....

I once built a vault that had the most amazing collection of GD materials. But nothing I read about can compare with this collection that is vaulted in an undisclosed location. Thousands of posters from every concert and thousands and thousands of tickets that were printed as mini posters but had to be handed back in to get into the concert, the band members original instruments in the earliest years before they started playing the high dollar instruments and sheet music written on notebook paper.

But the most fun vault to build was the one for Pearl Jam. They did it right. They understood that their value and brand would grow with time so early on they did their archive right and they will have the greatest archived collection when they are all done.

Funny all my vault projects start with such high aspirations and when they have it all in place, they all say the same thing.........."Okay Hugh, now forget where we are. You were never here!" Ironic, in a world of records managers they want me to forget the project ever existed. As I get older and older that is becoming easier and easier to do.
