Glen:

I will ask a couple of "it depends" questions:

1.	What do any applicable records schedules, statutes, or regulations
indicate as retention, other than if there is a "known" incident?
2.	Is the organization using tape, DVR, or another media? If it is a
DVR or similar situation, is the footage offloaded from the main system?

These questions come from previous experience as a corporate records
manager.

Subject: [RM] Security Camera Footage

Anyone have a best practice or thought on how long to maintain security
camera footage? Understanding that if there is an incident that footage
would be maintained indefinitely.

Thanks in advance

Glen
