Well maybe....
But this why lawyers drive expensive cars.
Keep in mind we, as records manager, have been claiming for years that
proper records practices mitigate risk. In addition a good percentage of
business managers see records managers as having the role of mitigating
risk.
It is not a great leap to have risk managers see a product put forth by
records managers as being in competition with any product they have when
the acronym is trademarked by them.
ARMA can certainly challenge this.
I look forward to the screaming over that bill.
