There are temporary email servcies out there (not temporary accounts, 
temporary email) and I'm waiting to see if they catch on or not.  The idea is 
that when you open the email it retrieves the message through their servers, 
so the sender can create the destruction date:  after first reading, after 1 
day, after 1 week, etc.

As a method of keeping information 100% confidential it stinks (anyone have a 
camera?) but as a way of reducing some of the headache associated with 
managing email I wonder if it has a place today.  And this despite ESI rules in 
the FRCP - with even telephone conversations being recorded digitally these 
days, the only way to avoid ESI is to have a quiet conversation in a back alley.
