I would agree that the starting time for sessions was a little early
and did make for a long day.
And yes McCormick Place was a distance away from the main hotel. But
the transportation from and to the main hotel seemed to work fairly
well. I decided to walk to the center on Saturday afternoon for
registration as well as Sunday morning. Grant Park has lots of places
to see and offers great walking trails. Sunday morning the Bear's
fans were in full tailgating mode; some of them appeared to have
started a day or two earlier. If not for speaking in the afternoon I
probably would have taken up a couple of offers to enjoy a brat and
some brew.
As far as presentation availability - ARMA staff have always had some
challenges getting speakers to submit their presentations on time even
with deadlines. I met my deadline but I know some facilitators are
not as responsive.
