Similar to a question asked last week about retention of records when it
comes to multiple states vs. Federal requirements, here's an article about
protection of the privacy of personal information in a multinational
setting.

It seems as if the choice is rather similar- you either apply the most
stringent standard to ALL information or segregate information based on
where the employees work, then apply the relevant standards.
