The real issue at stake here is that the technology, records, legal 
requirements are changing exponentially fast!  It is time for the Records 
and Information Management profession to make a quantum leap forward to keep 
the pace.  Not everyone agrees with how we should make that leap forward, 
but I think that keeping an open mind, challenging the status quo, and 
antipating the future will add value if it can be done with respect and 
dignity.  Our profession is becoming extremely complex and challenging, so I 
hope that everyone will continue to offer ideas because there are so many 
opportunities.  I don't think we all have to agree, but we can all get 
along.
