With a new group, I like let folks know that RIM is not a fad, even though they may have not heard of it until recently. I let them know that RIM is a discipline that has developed over thousands of years, taking 30 seconds for a time line. That sets the stage for GARP, the latest codification of what's veen evolving for millenia.
Good luck!

>I just formed my first Records Management Advisory Team (YIKES) and our first meeting just got moved from next Monday to tomorrow! I don't want to send the entire team running screaming from the building by hitting them up all at once with the challenges we face in this newly created department, however I am scrambling for ideas to get them thinking and feeling good about being on this team without boring them to death. This is a small group and everyone knows each other so I'm not looking for icebreaker type activities or ideas. I mainly want to get them thinking about records. Get the neurons firing...Does anyone have any ideas or things they have tried or suggestions? I am a Toastmaster and can def. research some things but am running short of time.
