I think for most organizations, especially large organizations, the
question is - how do we start creating an information governance (IG)
environment - not to mention and IG Committee - what is it IG is trying to
accomplish.  For large companies the thought of bringing together such
disparate agendas, functions and technologies seems overwhelming.  Before
we can talk about IG strategies, we need to talk about the objective(s) of
IG .  Just my two cents on a Friday evening.
