Hi, Sharon!

"1. Do you think a minor in RIM will improve these graduates chances
of finding employed?

2. Outside of RIM theory, project management and introduction to the
available technologies what else could be included as part of the minor"

An undergraduate minor could be very helpful to the RIM industry. There are
lots of entry-level openings, not just jobs for records managers.

Beyond their business classes they would need a library science class in
taxonomies and/or ontologies, and a business process management class.
Systems analysis would be a help as would database design to understand the
overall architectural issues.

For RIM theory I have used ARMA's Principles as a baseline for the
introductory course and been very pleased with the results.

Best wishes,
Carol
