Larry is right... we went through this exercise a couple of years ago when we changed vendors, and found that our previous vendor has lost several dozen boxes.  I'd been requesting full inventory reports regularly, but there is no way to know what is missing until you ask for it.  Unfortunately, there was no way to tell how long these boxes had been missing and for us, since they were legacy records, we weren't really sure of the contents of these boxes so we didn't really know what was missing.

Some good news though... the old vendor recently "found" 11 of these previously missing boxes, so there's still hope that we'll get the others at some point.
