I was wondering if anyone has the background on ARMA's new dues structure which divides membership into the following categories: professional; associate; and friend of ARMA.  I am interested in the reasoning behind these categories. This does not seem to have been communicated to ARMA members.  Are chapters being encouraged to have their own friends of ARMA program where anyone who is a friend of ARMA International could join a chapter simply by paying chapter dues directly to the chapter they wish to join.
