Iron Mountain and Shred-It to Pay $1.1 Million Set - SDB - Storage &
Destruction Business
The settlement follows a multiyear investigation by the U.S. Department of
Justice triggered by a lawsuit filed by Pennsylvania resident Douglas
Knisely, owner of Knisely Shredding, a family-operated document shredding
business based in Lock Haven, Pa.
A third defendant, Cintas Corp <http://www.cintas.com/>., Cincinnati,
continues to contest allegations that it defrauded the federal government
by failing to properly shred sensitive documents, according to a press
