Hope you have had a great week, so far!

I was wondering if there is a distinct difference in Compact Discs when using them for storing data?  My data would consist of Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, etc.  Generally, the usual items for a government office, yes we (international airport) operate as a small city, we just don't charge property taxes!

So, does a gold CD have any higher quality over a silver CD?

I looked in our listserv archives, but the most recent info I found was 2008.  And, in looking through the Internet, I'm not finding much there, either.
