The Oregon Chapter of ARMA International kicks off its series of monthly meetings and educational presentations this fall with a presentation by Port of Portland records staff and a tour of their facility. Put in your calendar now to attend the chapter meeting on Tuesday, September 10 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. The Port of Portland will talk about their new Records Coordinator Training and Certification Program. The program is eligible for 1.0 Certification Maintenance Point for Certified Records Managers (CRM). By the way, each of our chapter meetings this year will have a theme.  The theme for September is "Back to School/Back to Basics."  Here is the list of themes for the rest of the year:

October:  Horror Stories
November: Giving Thanks (Success Stories)
December:  Holiday Party
January:  New Year's Resolutions
February:  RM + ? = Love?  (Great Relationships with RM)
March:  Luck Be a Lady (Stories that involved a great deal of luck!)
April:  Spring Cleaning (All about destructions)
May:  Remembering the Past (Lessons Learned from past experiences)
