Loved the Venetian, we stayed in the sister hotel 2 years ago but used to wander in - great bar in the Palazzo (next door to Venetian) is called "First" did great jugs of sangria, sound system to die for and it's dark to boot (for those intimidated by said list serv personage)
Shame I can't join you - but we won't be back til March 2014 :-(
