So now that the date and time for the party have been established, what about the venue?

There was a suggestion to hold the party at The Venetian, so I did some quick online searching of the facilities. Under "Lounges", here's the one I thought the likeliest:

*        Bellini Bar   http://www.venetian.com/Las-Vegas-Nightlife/Lounges/Bellini-Bar/

Here are the others (in alphabetical order):

* Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Bar http://www.venetian.com/Las-Vegas-Nightlife/Lounges/Double-Helix/ (NOTE: may be too expensive: "As the premier destination in Las Vegas for seasoned and budding wine connoisseurs ...")

* Fusion Latin Mixology Bar http://www.venetian.com/Las-Vegas-Nightlife/Lounges/Fusion/ (NOTE: noisy "Latin music reminiscent of the Rumba, Salsa and Samba and images of South American beaches, landmarks and dancing create a fun atmosphere in this circle bar"

* Lagasse's Stadium http://www.venetian.com/Las-Vegas-Nightlife/Lounges/Lagasses-Stadium/ (NOTE: noisy sports bar "more than 100 HD TVs including a 9 foot x 16 foot main TV"

* Laguna Champagne Bar http://www.venetian.com/Las-Vegas-Nightlife/Lounges/Laguna-Champagne-Bar/ (NOTE: their Drink Menu does NOT list prices ....)

* Rockhouse http://www.venetian.com/Las-Vegas-Nightlife/Lounges/Rockhouse/ (NOTE: noisy "Rockhouse offers drinking games in the daytime and DJs at night, with a sexy bar staff that keeps the party going all the time. Plus, with 83 flat-panel televisions lining every wall of the interior")

* The Bourbon Room http://www.venetian.com/Las-Vegas-Nightlife/Lounges/The-Bourbon-Room/ (NOTE: noisy "VJ's will get the party started daily at 8 p.m. spinning classic rock hits and music videos")

* The Lounge at SUSHISAMBA http://www.venetian.com/Las-Vegas-Nightlife/Lounges/Lounge-SushiSamba/ (NOTE: noisy "The Lounge at SUSHISAMBA disc jockeys spin a blend of music ranging from house to Top 40 to Brazilian and Japanese pop. Bands from Rio, street music from Tokyo" BUT "... private events are always welcome. The lounge's main area offers 174 seats and the VIP section includes seating for 20" - the VIP section is separate)

* V Bar http://www.venetian.com/Las-Vegas-Nightlife/Lounges/V-Bar/ (NOTE: smoke "Daily: 9:30 p.m. Hookah" and noisy "an ideal location ... for nightlife enthusiasts desiring a hip scene and top DJ's spinning late into the night."

* Zebra Lounge http://www.venetian.com/Las-Vegas-Nightlife/Lounges/Zebra/ (NOTE: noisy "some of the hottest live music on the strip")

Glen Sanderson suggested Slots a Fun, but (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slots-A-Fun_Casino) "There is no drink service".

Any ideas? Comments?

Fred
