I am a graduate of Emporia State University's SLIM program (Class of 2011 REPRESENT!), and also took the Records & Information Management class. Is Professor Steward teaching? He's truly a wonderful, patient, and understanding instructor - and he did NOT pay me to tell you that!

I hope you find this listserv helpful to not only find answers, but to find that there may NOT be an answer - which is also valuable information. This field is not black and white. In fact, I think one of the posters refers to RIM as both an art and a science. Don't be afraid to think "outside the box" for a solution that is not "off-the-shelf." I believe there is much room for innovation.

Most of all, don't be afraid to ask questions of this group. I have found them all to be kind and respectful.

Have fun and good luck!

Tyrene
