Congratulations to everyone who passed the IGP certification exam!  I am interested in this certification and I know we had some discussions on the listserv in March.  I read through the IGP resources again on the ARMA website and it appears there is still no information about re-certification.  I would assume the exam could be taken again after 3 years, but what other options are there?  I am also a bit reluctant to sit for the exam knowing the cost is $599.  That seems high to me even though I am sure it is in line with other similar certifications.  Budgets are tight so like everyone else I have to decide the biggest bang for the buck.  I see the IGP exam is closely tied to The Principles.  That is good because my organization purchased the tool last year and we went through a very extensive process to take the assessment and benchmark our program.  Sitting on my organization's Data Governance Council (DGC) as I do, I see the benefit of the IGP certification, but at this point I think I will wait a bit until ARMA provides some more information and hopefully the price comes down a bit.
