Greetings all,

I am a new subscriber to the list and I am entering my final semester as a
Simmons GSLIS student out at the GLSIS West campus at Mt. Holyoke.  I will
be taking Managing Records in Electronic Environments with Sarah Polirer as
one of my final classes, hence my interest in joining this list.  I've been
dealing with a type of records management - museum collection records for
most of my 25+ years in the museum field.  I'm looking forward to learning
the principles of good records management and how to deal with electronic
records.

I would also like to give a special shout-out to list members who are
members of the Houston Chapter of ARMA International and all those who
support the Alice L. Haltom Educational Fund Scholarship.  I have been a
recipient of this scholarship for the last two years and am VERY thankful
for their support.
