Ahhhhh, yes and now we have it............

The Digital Records or as I love to call them; the ubiquitous classification of
“Important Records” as my most favorite kind. (Bing! Larry is awake! ) Permanent, Vital, Long Term, Short Term, Intrinsic Value but most importantly the Important Digital Records. (Chris is reaching for the Thesauri)

Mr. Bellavia, you may be talking to the only person on this Listserve who will admit to storing (and protecting) Digital Records. Or Vaulting them as the more proper term for protecting back up tapes.

But I digress from the "fundamentals of records management" and I defer to my esteemed records managers to elucidate. Let the full weight of the RAIN cascade down on the Class of 2014. Clearly an entire Thesis will be required as this young “Wort has pulled Excalibur from the Stone.”

The Black Knight Sir Lawrence will soon gallup into the ring, Sir Frederick representing simultaneously Yorkshire and Gaul, Lord Peter of the RAIN peoples, Chief Chris representing the indigenous tribes on an Ol’ Paint and various other Knights and Princesses of the Records Management Kingdom and Emporia State will soon learn the knowledge of Ages.

I, the humble Court Jester, retire from the Jousting Area to await the Elucidation that methinks your class came to witness. It shall be splendid!

Take notes.......Elsewhere in the Kingdom this education is priceless. The Educators who deliver it, the Masters of their Domain. In truth, no one in the realm does it better than the inhabitants of this august body!
