Program:Mr. Minturn will discuss lessons of experience in setting up internal controls and security on various high-level networks, the new world of information on the move, and its possible implications for records/content managers and knowledge workers. This presentation will be a terrific launch for our Chapter Theme this year "Information on the Move.” Records Managers increasingly need to understand the increasing complexity of capturing and protecting records created by and stored in a myriad of devices using technologies that we can barely imagine!
Speaker: John Minturn is the Manager of Security Operations Center at the U.S. House of Representatives, where he has worked for 10 years. John has been in the Information Security business for over 15 years. Throughout his time in the industry John has set up many networks built to withstand network intrusions, internal compromises, and policy placement for internal controls.
Menu: Dinner will be a buffet with a choice of Grilled Lemon Herb Salmon or Vegetable Lasagna as a main course. Also includes Caesar Salad, Rolls and Butter, Vegetable of Day Chef’s Dessert and non-alcoholic beverages.
