Right now I'm doing queries on search engines and in the Recmgmt-l
archives to find out if any statistics exist on the storage volume of
structured data and, specifically, what % of that data might be retained
past its retention period (a formal retention period not available, then,
we'll say its "useful life").
I'm not having much luck, and am wondering if anyone on the list has come
across any study or knows of any industry standard estimate of what % of
structured data might be retained past its retention period or useful
life.
In the meantime, I'll keep on looking.
Thanks,
Gary Link
