Ah, but what if you pickled the brain of the oral historian with a
review to restoring it someday and retrieving its contents, like they do
in sci-fi? Would it not in that case be a record, at least
potentially? Sot of like a bad tape you're trying to restore? I
suppose freezing's a better option, but you get the pont.
