Really, then how do these same "experts" explain the "global warming" that has been occurring for millennia prior to industrialization? While I may be considered a science Luddite for questioning the "science" of man-made global warming, I believe one needs only to look at the greater scope of Earth's time and see that there have been innumerable regional and global weather shifts of much greater consequences to land and nature than we are seeing today. Anyone remember the Ice Age? Reading comments from people like these Livermore representatives reminds me of a line from Crocodile Dundee. When discussing who owns his land, Dundee replies that arguing about ownership is like two fleas arguing over which one owns the dog. We are so incapable of terraforming on the scale in this article as to make it laughable. But they are amusing fleas!
