Records Center Technician

A records technician should be capable of supporting operational activities.
This position is focused on safely preparing records from one records center
for shipment to another records center, receiving and re-filing the records
at the new location, and using computer tools to track the location and
custody of all materials. Responsibilities include:
*       Managing records in compliance with the client records management
(RM) standards to ensure that records are secured and the guidelines are
understood , including the following tasks:
o       Organize records in the file room, including accounting records,
well records, facility drawings, logs, and technical files.
o       Enter data /inventory records into the client RM tool.
o       Barcode and file records for storage both onsite and offsite.
o       Prepare and ship records to offsite storage.
o       Check records in and out and maintain integrity of the database.
o       Provide records management expertise as needed.
o       Deliver day-to-day user assistance via email, telephone and
in-person. Provide retrieval services for stored records.
*       Submitting weekly reports to supervisors.
*       Interfacing with clients and other contractors' personnel to provide
delivery service.
*       Performing other maintenance functions in physical or electronic
environments.
*       Participating in the resolution of problems/concerns related to the
records management process.
*       Recommending process enhancements to client and Access Sciences
Corporation.
*       Adhere to company and client safety requirements
*       Use proper lifting techniques to load and unload boxes from tables,
carts, or trucks and onto designated shelving units in the warehouse
