MORENO VALLEY: Speed-up of record destruction prompts ire

An effort to speed up the destruction of public documents, including
recordings of City Council meetings, sparked an outpouring of criticism of
Moreno Valley over the weekend.

The council is poised to overhaul its document-retention policies at a
public meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 22, a move the city clerk described as
routine.
