Orange County, FL Comptroller's Office uses the Scan Pro 2000/3000 series scanners as well.  We have found them very user friendly and reliable.  The scanned images can be "adjusted" as necessary to improve the image -- which is a bonus if you have old microfilm you are converting as some of the earlier film images can be of poorer quality.
