Well before we all begin to suffer from thread creep, I have a suggestion. Lately there has begun an infestation on hte list of Friday pondering on any of a number of other days. This "Thread Creep" eventually leads to nasty comments from list admins and the suggestion that we take the thread offline. I happen to appreciate the Friday Ponderings. Before we are told to move it offline I would recommend... Sanderson created the critter that has come to be know as "Friday Ponderings". He should be held responsible for the care and feeding of it. Folks hat have an idea for the thread should do like I do, send your Idea to Sanderson, so that he can ignore it and push his own idea out. A this critter grows maybe Sanderson can come up with some guidelines for the care and feeding of this creature.
