If you happen to be a Cornerstone Records Management customer, you better
dust off your contract and see what you have in your T&C about takeovers
and how that impacts your arrangement.

If you have a limited amount of time to remove your records without a
penalty, you MAY want to consider exercising it POST HASTE. Even if you
don't have that clause, it may be time to request an inventory of all of
your holdings and check it against your records before someone new takes
over... things seem to have a way of going missing during transitions.

Iron Mountain Inc. (IRM) acquired Cornerstone Records Management for about
$191 million in cash, increasing its core information-storage business,
particularly with additional small and mid-sized customers.

Cornerstone mainly provides records storage--along with document shredding
and data protection services--to small and mid-sized organizations. The
company operates throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast as well as in
Southern California, Denver and Houston. Cornerstone stores and manages
nearly 11 million cubic feet of hardcopy documents in 36 leased facilities.
