I would be interested in hearing how long do you keep your litigation
files in electronic and/or paper form? Any difference for US versus
International disputes and/or by type of litigation?
>>
Jeni,
Many of the people on the list who might've responded to your query are at
the ARMA Conference. You might try
1. Search the list archives for "litigation files" or "litigation
records." This question has been discussed before and you'll be able to
read those discussions.
2. Public entities often have their retention schedules online (state
governments, universities) so you can use your favorite search engine to
find & read many retention schedules.
Maybe when everyone gets back they'll answer your question and mine the
other day about computer logs.
Good luck,
Gary Link
