Oddly enough, I was a Charter Member of the Advisory Committee for the MARA
at SJSU, serving on it from 2006 until my involvement summarily ended
earlier this year.  (See my LinkedIn page)

Business doesn't have a strong grasp of "archive/archiving" and it has been
confused even further by IT's improper use of the term when discussing data
moved from active use to inactive storage, whether that means 'offline' or
'near-line'  and sadly, some use it to refer to backup tapes... which is
completely improper use of the term.
