OK...I'll bite (pun intended).
 
I'm going to get breed specific here. I think records managers are Kerry Blue Terriers (KBT), a somewhat rare breed. 
A KBT is an all purpose farm dog - herding all those stray files and pieces of information; working hard to discover all materials responsive to a particular legal matter; & assisting in varment control by going to ground to train clients in solid records management & the Principles.  Young KBTs perform document destruction as they do love to shred.

Just my take and yes my breed is the KBT. I keep 3 of them affectionately known as the R Gruppe - Rocket, Renny the Gator, and the new kid Rauri.
