I suspect this is a consideration for everyone, in one form or fashion.  I
can get a relatively cheap flight to San Antonio.  And since I have family
in the area I can stay with them and not worry about paying for a hotel.
Denver, another example, would be a great place to hold a conference.  But
the airport is out in the middle of nowhere and the cost of transportation
to downtown isn't cheap.

The challenge for ARMA is finding a location that can meet its members
needs.  We are not a large organization by any means (compared to say PMI,
which holds three annual conference). In addition many of us are on tight
budgets.  In my mind that limits where the conference can be held.
