The number of retention periods is excessive. NARA is in the process of rewriting their schedules, so hopefully this will cut down on some of the retention periods. In the meantime, this is what we have to work with. I'd also like to add that these schedules are our options to use for our records if needed, many of these schedules do not apply so we don't use them.

Here are the descriptions for the records with 0M:

- Offers of Employment Files Declined/All others (other than names received from certificate of eligible and for temporary or excepted appointment).
- Federal Employee Medical Folder/Unidentified X-ray films and those in advanced stages of decomposition that can neither be interpreted nor copied and may be hazardous to human health.
- Video Recordings/Rehearsal or practice tapes.
- Audio Recordings/Recordings of meetings made exclusively for note taking or transcription, excluding recordings of proceedings of Presidential commissions and other executive commissions.
- Audio Recordings/Dictation Belts or Tapes.
- Audio Recordings/Premix sound elements created during the course of a motion picture, television, or radio production.

The disposition for all of these is "Destroy immediately."
