     Due to strong interest and response, we are pleased to be able to
extend the registration period for the 2013 Best Practices Exchange
Conference in Salt Lake City, November 13-15.

     Whether you’re a records manager, archivist, or librarian, many of the
30 presentations on managing and preserving digital records on the schedule
(http://archives.utah.gov/BPE-2013-schedule-long-descriptions.pdf), will be
of interest. Attendees can interact with and discuss common interests with
nearly 40 presenters and over 130 colleagues from 27 states and Canada.

Conference data is mirrored on the Utah State Archives website
(http://archives.utah.gov/bpe-registration2.html), due to periodic technical
difficulties with the main site. Registration costs $175 for the full
conference. If you would like to attend only Friday's filmmaker’s seminar by
Milt Shefter, the cost is $75. To allow as many students as possible to
attend the filmmaking seminar, they will be admitted free of charge (with
student ID).
