Privy Council Office calls for experts to decontaminate mouldy documents

The Privy Council Office is scrambling to preserve 145 boxes of classified
documents that are literally mouldering away in its records management
office at 59 Sparks Street.

The documents were among thousands damaged by a flood caused by a burst
pipe in a storage basement at the Privy Council Office in 2001, some of
which were later treated to remove mould, according to a bid solicitation
posted Oct. 28.
