Biglaw firm introduces new document review policy following AppSung leaks -
Lexology
It’s a fact of life, mistakes happen. This is true no matter what line of
work you are in. John Quinn, partner at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan
LLP, has recently announced the creation of a new document retention policy
that will attempt to ensure that his firm makes less of these inevitable
errors. This announcement came as the firm faces calls for sanctions
following its accidental disclosure of protected license information. That
information is associated with the long-running and high-profile litigation
between Samsung Electronics and Apple.
