Fresh out of college in '84 with a brand spankin' new Bachelor of
Science in Business sheepskin, I saw a flyer from a large midwestern
university system for a "Methods & Procedures Analyst" that required a
BS in Business degree. Sent in my resume and was invited to
interview. I assumed it would be industrial engineering management,
time and motion stuff... At the interview I found out it was really
going to be a Records Analyst, but they had lost the title and
position in the HR matrix, but would be getting it back. I asked
"what is records management?" They briefed me on it and then hired
me. Two very Sr RIM dudes; trained and mentored me hands on.

To carry it forward a dab...; was at the Univ. for a few years, on to
a very large utility co. HQd in NC for twelve years; on to a
municipality in NV for 10 years. Retired to my lake house in MO for
two years and was very bored. Updated my resume and went back to work
for another very large utility, this one HQd in Ohio. I will be
hesitant to retire again..., difficult to be a curmudgeon without a
'captive' audience .... :>)

I hate paper!

Best regards, Steve
