Nevada Legislature Records Regulations Process

Senator Tick Segerblom’s presentation will address:


Background, how a regulation begins, approval route, Governors review
What happen in the 77th Session
Outside influences, Nevada Archivist/Lobbyist
How the regulations affect Private Business and/or Individual citizens?
How the regulations affect State/County/Cities agencies?
How the Federal and other state regulations affect us?

Tick is a third-generation Nevadan born in Boulder City where he attended high School and played football. He earned his undergraduate degree from Pomona College
 and his JD from the University of Denver.



Tick was first elected to the Nevada Assembly in November 2006 and the Nevada Senate in 2012. Career honors include listed as one of the Best Lawyers in America, 1993-2010 and Civil Libertarian of the Year, ACLU, 1992. He is Chair of the Senate Judiciary and
 a member of the Senate Health and Human Services and Senate Natural Resources committees. Tick and his wife Sharon have three children.
