Dr. Corbin asked "Where does Santa archive those 'naughty and nice' lists? What is the retention period for the lists?"

Retention Period:  until superseded by following year (long-term judgement rests with another jurisdiction).

Interim storage:  high-redundancy, high-availability multi-format digital systems (backed up to disk AND tape arrays). Equipment, software, and system integration vendors are not permitted to disclose their relationship with SC, Inc., under penalty that the vendors' children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren shall NEVER be eligible for gifts (and that includes YOU, Ed Snowden).
