Job Title:                               RECORDS ANALYST

Location:                               Neighborhood Housing and Community Development Office, City of Austin,
1000 E. 11th Street, Austin, Texas (http://www.austintexas.gov/housing)

Position Type:                      Full-Time/Part-Time - TEMPORARY

Salary:                                    $19.63 - $25.02 per hour

Position Summary: The Records Analyst is responsible for administering the departments' records and record management plan and liaison between the department and the City's Records Management Services Division.

Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university plus one (1) year of records management experience. Any combination of related education or experience may be substituted.
Completion of COA Records Management Certificate Program may substitute for two (2) years of experience or education.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  *   Experience in filing, indexing, archiving and disposal of records
  *   Experience with implementation and administration of document, content, data, records, or imaging management systems
  *   Ability to develop records management policies and procedures

The mission of the City of Austin's Neighborhood Housing and Community Development Office (NHCD) is to provide housing, community development, and small business development services to benefit eligible residents so they can have access to livable neighborhoods and increase their opportunities for self-sufficiency.
