I'm having five employees take the CDIA+ this year. The employees have key roles in our imaging bureaus (supervisors, sales, pre-sales), and for many of them the CDIA+ will solidify their knowledge in the document imaging world. I like the CDIA+ because it is specific to the document imaging world. Furthermore, CompTIA finally seems to have a solid book out to prepare candidates. When I took the exam in 2007 there was no such book. Last, the cost of the exam is reasonable.

Hi Mark,
I know it was revised and updated last year. I don't know how relevant the rewrite is because I haven't had the time to sit down and take it. I'd say take a look at the exam objectives to see if they feel relevant to you, but CompTIA has placed it behind a registration wall so you'd have to register to look at them. :P
